The only time subscriber information is used is to send out a regular e-mail to those who have voluntarily enlisted in this reminder service.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THIS SITE: We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Subscribers receive information relevant to their membership usually once a month. Other instances where users might be communicated with could include website service issues or significant policy changes. Members might also attempt to contact each other through contact forms on the site to send personal communications in regards to site activities. Please contact us if any members are abusing these communications channels.

ADVERTISING: We participate in several online affiliate programs, where other companies offer incentives for visitors sent to their sites. Most of the advertising on the site falls under affiliate program participation. We also market several of our other websites through advertising on this site, as well as other sponsors interested in placing an ad on our site.

Affiliate programs often use clear GIF images and sometimes Cookies in order to track how many visitors are sent to other sites and whether or not any purchases were made there.

LOG FILES: Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally
identifiable information.
